Thank you

Thank you all for the messages sent. I apologize for taking so long to moderate them. I spend so much time on the computer at work that I have a hard time making time for it at home. We truly are blessed. Despite all the financial hardships we will be paying off our truck this year. That will take off a pretty big burden. God is too good to us. I can't thank Him enough for all that he takes care of me for. Also, these past few years I have gotten to spend a LOT of time w/my Mom and Dad. For the first time, they came to my house for Thanksgiving. And, I had my Dad for Christmas. See, my Dad had a temporary job in Madison, IN, which put them only 2 hours away. It was absolutely the best! God didn't have to give me that but He did. And, I can't stop thanking Him. What is even more amazing is the fact that my Mom and Dad both came to church w/us a week ago yesterday. See, I was raised Pentecostal, and only in my heart did I ever dare to hope..... Thank you all so much for your prayers, I do continually keep all our brethren in my prayers, and am so thankful to know that I am remembered in so many other's prayers.

Hello again

Sorry it has been so long since I have been on here. A lot has been happening. My stepson is going to be getting married. My children definitely keep me attentive. Please continue to pray for us. My husband is still without a job. He has been going to GED classes and seems to really be struggling w/it. About the blog below, Glenn Beck. I'm normally not a political person. But this past year I have been paying attention to Fox News and comparing them to the other news channels. I won't say my opinion, just that you might want to check them out yourself. I thank God that no matter what goes on in the earthly world I have Jesus to lean on and I know that this world is not my home. Love and prayers to all.

Been a while

Well, thank you all for your prayers about my husband's job. Apparently God's answer was no to it. It only lasted a week. Needless to say we are having a little bit of a hard time now, along with,I'm sure, many other people that are out of work. I know that God will take care of us, though, he always has and I know he always will. Well, enough about the job. Other than that we are doing pretty good. Steve is sick, but I think he is on the mend now, some type of cold or flu. So, any and all prayers for him would be greatly appreciated. My job is going pretty well, we are taking on several new customers and it is definitely making more work for me, which is fine, because it makes the time fly @ work. My girls are growing SO fast, I can hardly believe it. My 9 year old, I believe, will likely be pretty tall. My oldest daughter is a junior in high school, and has her permit to drive. She is really @ the scary age for a mother. I'm really bad @ letting go. Well, I look forward to checking everyone else's blogs soon, and please remember that God is always there for us. I can't thank God enough for all that he has done, is doing and will do for all of us. He is so AWESOME.

THANK GOD. MY HUSBAND STARTED A NEW JOB TODAY. HE'S BEEN OFF WORK FOR OVER A YEAR. PLEASE PRAY, THOUGH. HE IS A PAINTER, AND WHAT HE'D BEEN DOING FOR THE LAST 16 YEARS IS RESIDENTIAL (MOSTLY CUSTOM HOMES) AND SOME COMMERCIAL. HIS NEW JOB IS APARTMENT PAINTING. APARTMENT PAINTING IS USUALLY MORE ABOUT THE QUANTITY THAN THE QUALITY. MY HUSBAND IS A PERFECTIONIST AND HAS ALWAYS CONCENTRATED ON QUALITY. ANOTHER THING THAT WILL BE NEW FOR US IS THE COMPANY HE STARTED FOR TODAY DOES NOT TAKE OUT HIS TAXES. SO WE WILL NEED A LOT OF PRAYER THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO DO OUR TAXES PROPERLY. GOD IS SO GOOD TO US, AND I DO FEEL THAT WE WERE LEAD TO IT. PLEASE PRAY FOR MY HUSBAND PHYSICALLY, TOO. HE'S BEEN OFF WORK FOR A LONG TIME AND HIS FIRST DAY WAS GOING UP AND DOWN A LOT OF STAIRS, AS ALL THE APARTMENTS THEY DID TODAY WERE ON THE 3RD FLOOR. LOVE TO ALL AND I GUESS THAT'LL DO IT FOR NOW.

A little more about me

I am 36 years old. I am married to a wonderful huband named Steve. We have 4 great kids. They are: Steven (24), Chris (23), Suzette (16) and Caitlyn (9). We also have 3 dogs. Needless to say I stay very busy. I have a full time job, I work for Old Dominion Freight Lines. Monday thru Friday, 8 AM- 4PM. I have been very blessed. Hope all is well with everyone.
